About

Christi is a self-taught copper artist from Brandon, SD.  She began working with copper sheeting in the beginning of 2012, since then she has completed, donated, or sold over close to one hundred pieces of artwork ranging in size from small to large.  

   Her work has been showcased at local art galleries, restaurants, and businesses.  She has been involved in local events as well as fundraising events, as far as the Big Grape, Avera Hearts in Healing, Artist Against Hunger, and Hot Harley Nights.  

   In 2014 Christi was part of a home remodeling project that was on the Remodel Home Show.  She did the original artwork for the copper countertops and an original “Buddha” piece for the bathroom.  

   In April of 2015 Christi painted an old door that she donated to the Habitat Sioux Falls/Restore for their ReStorAtion Art Auction, which they chose for one of their live auction pieces.  

   Currently Christi is creating and displaying her work out of her business called “That Monkey” out of Corson, SD.
